A compressed air motor (or pneumatic motor) is a motor that derives its mechanical power from the expansion of a gas, usually compressed air. Our motors consist of a vane pneumatic motor and a planetary gearbox. They offer four main advantages:

(1) Safety
No electricity, so neither sparks nor hot spots – ideal for explosive, humid, or dusty environments. Our compressed air motors are ATEX certified and require no electronic cards or complex protection systems. Even in the event of a blockage, there are no current spikes or overheating.

(2) Reliability
Our compressed air motors are robust and durable: They do not heat up (on the contrary, they cool down during operation), withstand frequent starts and stops, and can run continuously, 24/7, without failing.

(3) Flexibility and simplicity
Compressed air motors automatically adapt to a wide range of torques and speeds. They are easy to install, almost maintenance-free, and can operate in any position, from -30°C to +150°C, without the need for specific authorization.

(4) Compactness
For equivalent power, a compressed air motor is 5 to 6 times smaller and lighter than an electric or hydraulic motor. This saves valuable space, which translates into flexibility and competitiveness in the design of your equipment.
